If you think “church coffee” is not your thing then we invite you to think again. Cafe Neri opens every Sunday morning after Mass serving refreshments.

What happens at coffee after Mass is a continuation of what’s just happened in church. Cafe Neri is not really about the coffee — or even the cake! It’s about strengthening community, making connections, and building friendships. Whether our church has been your home for years, or you are only visiting Oxford for the day, we hope that you will come inside after Mass to say hello.

At Cafe Neri, we are pleased to serve good honest Jeeves & Jericho® artisan tea, Nespresso® coffee and gourmet cakes hand-baked by Cakesmiths, Bristol-based purveyors of delicious cakes, tray bakes and brownies. We also open the bar after the last Sunday morning Mass to serve a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks.

We serve Christ by serving one another, and there is no better way to begin this in our ordinary lives than by sharing a table with each other. Cafe Neri is staffed entirely by volunteers who provide a warm and friendly welcome for all our guests. New volunteers are always welcome, so get in touch with us if you are able to help.
